Four-panel layout
The scene editor is organized into four main panels:
- 3D canvas — The main viewport where you view and interact with your scene.
- Timeline — Controls playback, animation clips, and audio tracks.
- Outliner — Lists the scene’s setups, each expanding to its own objects and cameras, plus locations, audio, locators, and rulers.
- Properties — Displays transform, material, and other settings for the selected object.
Browser requirements
The Spark web app renders Gaussian splats in the browser via WebAssembly. Google Chrome on a recent Mac or PC is required, with hardware acceleration enabled — other browsers are not supported, and a viewport that feels slow or unresponsive is almost always a hardware acceleration setting, not a scene problem.Canvas toolbar
Four controls sit in the upper left of the 3D canvas:- Gear — Opens the Camera panel for move speed, look speed, boost speed, and transform size.
- Compass — Toggles the scene gizmo on or off.
- Square — Toggles the ground plane on or off.
- Bug — Toggles Show Debug Info, which overlays the current frame rate in the upper left of the canvas.
