Adding lights

Add lights to your scene from the outliner. Spark Story supports three light types:
  • Directional — Simulates distant light (like sunlight) that illuminates the entire scene uniformly.
  • Spot — Casts a focused cone of light. Useful for highlighting specific areas.
  • Point — Emits light in all directions from a single point.

Light properties

Select a light to edit its properties in the properties panel:
  • Intensity — Controls how bright the light is.
  • Color — Sets the light’s color.
  • Angle — For spot lights, controls the width of the cone.

Environment presets

Environment presets provide background lighting and reflections based on real-world settings. Choose from presets such as apartment, city, studio, and others to set the overall mood of your scene.

Environment intensity

Adjust the environment intensity to control how strongly the preset affects scene lighting. Lower values produce subtler ambient light; higher values make the environment more prominent.
