Lightcraft Spark is the iOS companion to Spark Story. It turns your iPhone or iPad into a virtual camera inside the same scenes you build in the browser. Both apps share the same real-time database — move an asset in the browser and the phone sees it, move it on the phone and the browser sees it.Documentation Index

Prerequisites
- An iPhone or iPad with Lightcraft Spark installed via TestFlight
- The same account you use for Spark Story in the browser
- A 3D scene already set up in Spark Story
Lightcraft Spark is currently distributed through TestFlight. App Store availability is forthcoming.
- Open Lightcraft Spark on your iPhone or iPad.
- Sign in with the same Google or email account you use in the browser. There is no separate phone login — your organization, productions, scripts, scenes, and shot lists follow your account.
Navigate to a scene
- Select your organization from the home screen.
- Open your production.
- Navigate to the script scene, then tap into the 3D scene you want to work in.
The scene loads with all assets, locations, and shots that exist in Spark Story.
Splat size limits
Lightcraft Spark on iPhone or iPad caps at roughly 5 million splats per scene. If your splat exceeds that count, the scene will not load on the phone. Keep a downsampled version for mobile previs and the full-resolution version for the browser and for Jetset on set.Next steps
- iPhone or iPad camera controls — Navigate scenes and configure camera settings on your phone.
- Live camera sharing — Broadcast your camera view to the team in real time.
- Compositing and recording — Record takes with live AI compositing.
