Lightcraft Spark provides two ways to move through a scene: touch controls and AR mode. Both send 3D coordinates (not video) back to Spark Story, which is why live camera sharing works across cities without lag.

Touch navigation

Use the on-screen controls to move through your scene:
  • Finger swipe — Look around by dragging on the viewport.
  • Joystick — Move forward, backward, and strafe using the on-screen joystick.
  • Height control — Rise and lower the camera.
  • Speed control — Adjust movement speed to cover large scenes quickly or move precisely in tight spaces.

AR mode

Tap the second button on the left side of the shooting view to enter AR mode. In AR mode, physically moving the phone drives the virtual camera. Dial the speed up to cover a large scene from your chair.

Camera settings

Open camera settings to configure the virtual camera:
  • Lens — Select from real lens models. Pick the one you plan to shoot on so what you see in Spark matches what you get on set.
  • T-stop — Set the aperture for depth-of-field reference.
  • Focus — Adjust focus distance.
  • Camera body — Choose a camera body to match your production setup.
  • Zoom — Pinch or scroll to zoom in and out.

Scene locators

If your scene has locators set up in the browser, open the locators menu in Lightcraft Spark and tap a locator to jump directly to that point. This is especially useful in large scenes where driving across the environment is slow. See arranging objects for how to create locators in the browser.
