# Summary

This is the new lens calibration in Jetset Cine, which lets you calibrate a lens entirely on the iPhone. All you need is the camera, an Accsoon device, and the iPhone. To calibrate the lens, use an environment with as much visual detail as possible.

## Starting a new calibration

In Jetset, go to **Settings > Recording > Cine Calibration > Calibrations** to see a list of your existing calibrations. Select **New**, then rename the calibration — for example, to the lens's focal length, like "24mm." Enter the sensor width of your camera, and set **Auto Capture** to 8 or 12 reference frames (8 is the default; 12 gives more data). Select **Start**.

## Capturing reference frames

The iPhone automatically detects features to match between the two lenses. Hold still for the first match, then move — if there isn't enough overlap, Jetset Cine prompts you to move further. Follow the on-screen arc of camera angles, moving in an arcing motion to capture parallax between the two lenses, holding still each time so the app can compare them. A tripod on wheels makes this easier. Repeat until all 8 or 12 reference frames are captured.

## Completing the calibration

Once all reference frames are captured, Jetset Cine processes the data and finishes the lens calibration on the device. A yellow box on screen indicates the lens is calibrated. Enable **Cine Composite** to view the 3D scene from the camera's own perspective.
