# Organizations

> Create and manage organizations, invite team members, and configure roles

## Creating an organization

To create a new organization, select **Create Organization** from the dashboard and enter a name. You become the admin of any organization you create.

## Inviting team members

Invite collaborators to your organization by email. Invited members receive a notification and can join immediately if they already have a Spark Story account.

## Roles and permissions

Organizations support the following roles:

* **Admin** — Full access to organization settings, member management, and all productions.
* **Member** — Access to productions within the organization. Cannot manage organization settings or members.

## Leaving an organization

You can leave an organization at any time from the organization settings. If you are the only admin, you must assign another admin before leaving.
