# Importing scripts

> Upload existing screenplays in Fountain or Final Draft format to Spark Story

## Uploading an existing .fountain or Final Draft .fdx file

If you already have a screenplay in `.fountain` or Final Draft `.fdx` format, you can upload it directly. The script editor parses the file and generates scenes from your scene headings automatically.
